Good Housekeeping through the implementation of 7S

Three years ago Venvi Group of Companies have adopted the Japanese practices which made
their workplaces as well as the people to be more effective and efficient. These practices are 5
Japanese words that connotes good housekeeping. Venvi Group of Companies is in its 4 th year of
implementation and it progresses especially in meeting customer satisfaction

.
This year, an expanded version of 5S have been introduced which is the 7S of Good
Housekeeping with the inclusion of safety and sustain. 7S stands for sort, systematize, sweep,
standardize, safety, self-discipline
and sustain.


7S of Good Housekeeping is the most basic and fundamental approach for productivity and
quality improvement in all types of business. It is intended to optimize the physical workspace
for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining
orderliness and cleanliness in the area and sustaining the new order to ensure safety of the
workers in the most efficient manner.


Quality Assurance Center in coordination with Venvi Group of Companies practice 7S through
inter-office competition, Logo making contest and other activities that promotes good
housekeeping. Employees have the discipline and had a good habit in excellent way of satisfying
our clients as we always say, “7S a way of life at Venvi “


Venvi Group of Companies also uses visual management where all associates understand and
manage their own work in a safe, clean, organized environment that fosters open communication,
pride and continuous improvement. These allows employees to understand their influence as
well as improve the organizational performance in terms of higher productivity, better quality,
less accident, clean, safe and healthier working environment.


This endeavor is in preparation in joining the Productivity Competition sponsored by Regional
Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board, the said competition is participated in by different
organization nationwide.
